Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Herriman Mustangs (West Herriman, UT), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Sentinels confront the Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) in a 6A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, April 2. Mountain Ridge will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bingham for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Monday, March 25. Herriman will confront a Miners team coming off a 4-0 league win over Corner Canyon (Draper, UT). The Miners record now stands at 3-1.
