Texas High School Softball - Bowie gets by Austin

The Bowie Bears got by the visiting Austin Panthers softball squad by a count of 29-28 in Friday's league battle.

The Bears (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets go into the 4A Region I District 1 battle with a 3-11 record.

The Panthers now sport a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy for a 4A Region I District 1 battle on Thursday, March 28. Austin will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
