Beaver Dam Diamondback (Littlefield, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sandy Valley Sidewinders (Sandy Valley, NV), 21-19 in a league challenge.

The Diamondback now own a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they host Tonopah for a 1A Southern challenge on Saturday, March 23. Beaver Dam will battle a Muckers squad coming off a 29-25 league loss to Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV). The Muckers record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Sandy Valley falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Sidewinders travel to Laughlin (Laughlin, NV) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-6.
