The Coconino Panthers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Cactus Cobras to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Coconino improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Panthers host Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ) to clash with the Bears in a 4A Grand Canyon game on Tuesday, March 26. The Bears come into the game with a record of 7-4. Bradshaw Mountain won 8-3 in their recent league game against Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ)

In their next game, the Cobras clash with the Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ) in a 4A West Valley game, on Monday, March 25. Cactus will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 0-9 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Skyline (Mesa, AZ).
