The Connally Cadets softball team (Waco, TX), was routed 15-0 in Friday's league test with the host Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX)

Coming up next, the Rockets encounter the Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 test, on Tuesday, March 26. Robinson will attempt to improve on its 20-5 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 13-12 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, TX).

The Cadets (1-12) will now prepare for their test against China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Cougars come into the 4A Region III District 23 test with a 7-15 record. In their last test, China Spring was routed by Salado (Salado, TX), 16-0, in a league test.
