The Cotulla Cowboys softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Lytle Pirates to 15 in the Cowboys league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Cotulla moves its record to 9-12 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Natalia (Natalia, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 3A Region IV District 28 game on Monday, March 25. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 12-13. Natalia won 3-1 in their recent league game against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Dilley Wolves (Dilley, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 game, on Monday, March 25. Lytle will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 4-19 record after their 16-1 league loss to Hondo (Hondo, TX).
