Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX), 10-7 in a league challenge.

The Lobos now own a 22-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cypress Lakes for a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Langham Creek will face a Spartans squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 5-15.

With the loss, Cypress Ranch falls to 9-16 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX) to face the Eagles in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-14. Cypress Falls won 18-2 in their recent league challenge against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX)
