Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Dawson Springs Panthers (Dawson Springs, KY), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Carlisle County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 23. Webster County will face a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Comets record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Dawson Springs falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Trinity (Whitesville, KY) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Trinity won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Breckinridge County (Harned, KY)
