In Friday's non-league contest, the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Fulton City Bulldogs (Fulton, KY), by a margin of 19-0.
With the triumph, Mayfield moves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY) to play the Bombers in a District 3 contest on Monday, March 25. The Bombers come into the contest with a record of 5-1.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Lake County Falcons (Tiptonville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 26. Fulton City will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
