Graford Rabbits (Graford, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX), 17-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Rabbits now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they host Perrin-Whitt for a 2A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Graford will face a Pirates squad coming off a 24-13 league loss to Olney (Olney, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Petrolia falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Pirates host Chico (Chico, TX) to face the Dragons in a 2A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Chico lost 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Archer City (Archer City, TX)
