The La Grange Leopards routed the host Taylor Ducks softball squad by a final score of 12-2 in Friday's league battle.

The Leopards (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Caldwell (Caldwell, TX). The Hornets go into the 4A Region III District 22 battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Caldwell topped Smithville (Smithville, TX), 5-4, in a league battle.

The Ducks now possess a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Giddings for a 4A Region III District 22 battle on Monday, March 25. Taylor will meet a Buffaloes squad coming off a 17-2 league win over Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 7-8.
