Opelousas Catholic Vikings (Opelousas, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA), 20-0 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they host Rayne for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. Opelousas Catholic will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 27-20 league win over Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, St. Edmund falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Fighting blue jays travel to Iota (Iota, LA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 14-7.
