Texas High School Softball - Progreso falls to Rio Hondo

In Friday's league outing, the visiting Rio Hondo Bobcats softball team scored a nice 24-3 win over the Progreso Red Ants.
Coming up next, the Bobcats battle the Lyford Bulldogs (Lyford, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 32 outing, on Tuesday, March 26. Rio Hondo will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 6-8 record after their 10-9 non-league win over San Benito (San Benito, TX).
The Red Ants (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX). The Bobcats enter the 3A Region IV District 32 outing with a 11-8 record.
