The Brindlee Mountain Lions baseball team scored 24 runs and held the visiting Columbia Eagles to 6 in the Lions non-league win on Saturday.

The Lions now own a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elkmont for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1.

With the defeat, Columbia drops to 2-13 on the year. The Eagles host Skyline (Scottsboro, AL) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 3-5. Skyline lost 7-2 in their recent league test against Valley Head (Valley Head, AL)
