The Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Choctaw Central Warriors (Philadelphia, MS), 6-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Whippets now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Louisville for a 4A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Kosciusko will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 15-10 non-league loss to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-14.

With the defeat, Choctaw Central drops to 1-14 on the year. The Warriors host Union (Union, MS) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Union lost 16-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake (Lake, MS)
