The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Cullman Bearcats (Cullman, AL) and the host Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL), saw Cullman's baseball team get by Hillcrest by a tally of 4-3.
The Bearcats (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Jaguars enter the non-league battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Spain Park held off Chelsea (Chelsea, AL), 8-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Patriots face the Northside Rams (Northport, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 18-2 record after their 17-0 league win over Wenonah (Birmingham, AL).
