The Damien Monarchs baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting St. Louis Crusaders to 5 in the Monarchs league win on Saturday.

The Monarchs now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kamehameha Kapalama for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. Damien will play a Warriors team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Maryknoll (Honolulu, HI). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, St. Louis drops to 1-2 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Mid-Pacific Institute (Honolulu, HI) to play the Owls in a Interscholastic League [ILH] test on Tuesday, March 25. The Owls go into the test with a record of 2-3. Mid-Pacific Institute won 6-5 in their recent league test against Pac-Five (Honolulu, HI)
