The De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) baseball trounced the host Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), 14-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Cavalier now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bonnabel for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. De La Salle will clash with a Bruins team coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Bruins record now stands at 11-9.

With the defeat, Riverside Academy drops to 15-9 on the year. The Rebels travel to French Settlement (French Settlement, LA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 12-9. French Settlement won 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA)
