The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) and the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD), saw Fort Hill's baseball team gain a win over Mountain Ridge by a tally of 9-3.

The Sentinels (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Garrett (Accident, MD). The Huskies enter the Western Maryland battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Northern Garrett held off Allegany (Cumberland, MD), 14-8, in a league battle.

Next, the Miners face the Southern Rams (Oakland, MD) in a Western Maryland outing, on Monday, March 24. Mountain Ridge will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Rams enter the outing with a 2-1 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Moorefield (Moorefield, WV).
