Texas High School Baseball - Friona loses to Littlefield

In Saturday's league bout, the Littlefield Wildcats (Littlefield, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX), by a tally of 10-1.

Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Littlefield will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 3-11 record after their 14-6 league loss to Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX).

The Chieftans (2-12) will now prepare for their bout against Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region I District 2 bout with a 12-5 record. In their last bout, Idalou was overwhelmed by Shallowater (Shallowater, TX), 7-0, in a league bout.
