The North Delta Green Wave (Batesville, MS) baseball the host Grenada Chargers (Grenada, MS), 5-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Green Wave now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Indianola Academy for a MAIS 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. North Delta will clash with a Colonels team coming off a 17-2 non-league win over O'Bannon (Greenville, MS). The Colonels record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, Grenada drops to 10-6 on the year. The Chargers travel to South Panola (Batesville, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a 6A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 10-7. South Panola won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Senatobia (Senatobia, MS)
