In Saturday's league bout, the Westminster Christian Academy Chargers (Lafayette, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Gueydan Bears (Gueydan, LA), by a tally of 20-0.
Next up, the Chargers encounter the Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Westminster Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 2-7 record after their 5-4 league loss to Midland (Midland, LA).
The Bears (4-12) will now prepare for their bout against Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 0-11 record.
