The James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) baseball trounced the host Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), 10-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Mavericks now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodrow Wilson for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. James Monroe will clash with a Flying Eagles team coming off a 12-10 league loss to Riverside (Belle, WV). The Flying Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Summers County drops to 0-3 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Elk Valley Christian (Elkview, WV) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Elk Valley Christian won 10-7 in their recent league challenge against Teays Valley Christian (Scott Depot, WV)
