The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA) and the host Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA), saw St. Edmund's baseball team gain a win over Kaplan by a tally of 6-4.
The Fighting Blue Jays (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Kaplan (Kaplan, LA). The Pirates enter the non-league battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Kaplan held off Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA), 6-0, in a league battle.
