California High School Baseball - San Mateo nips Northgate

March 22, 2025: San Mateo, CA 94401

The San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) baseball got by the visiting Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Menlo School for a Peninsula - Ocean challenge on Tuesday, March 25. San Mateo will clash with a Knights team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Palma (Salinas, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, Northgate drops to 5-2 on the year. The Broncos travel to Campolindo (Moraga, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 27. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 6-1.
