North Carolina High School Baseball - South Rowan defeats Northwest Cabarrus

March 22, 2025: China Grove, NC 28023

The South Rowan Raiders baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans to 2 in the Raiders non-league win on Saturday.

The Raiders now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Norman Charter for a South Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, March 25. South Rowan will play a Knights team coming off a 9-7 non-league win over A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Northwest Cabarrus drops to 2-10 on the year. The Trojans travel to Carson (China Grove, NC) to play the Cougars in a South Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, March 25. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 4-7. Carson lost 5-4 in their recent league test against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
