Georgia High School Baseball - Strong Rock Christian edges Piedmont Academy

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Strong Rock Christian Patriots baseball team scored a close 8-5 victory over the Piedmont Academy Cougars.
The Patriots (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA). The Knights enter the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 5 game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Calvary Christian held off Westfield School (Perry, GA), 17-15, in a league game.
Next, the Cougars face the John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Piedmont Academy will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Heritage (Newnan, GA).
