The Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) baseball the host South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS), 5-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lafayette for a 5A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Pontotoc will clash with a Commodores team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS). The Commodores record now stands at 11-6.

With the defeat, South Pontotoc drops to 2-10 on the year. The Cougars host Senatobia (Senatobia, MS) to clash with the Warriors in a 4A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Senatobia lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against South Panola (Batesville, MS)
