The Monte Vista Monarchs edged the visiting O'Farrell Charter Falcons volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Monarchs face the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) in a game, on Thursday, March 27. Monte Vista will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record.
The Falcons (8-10) will now prepare for their game against Calexico (Calexico, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Calexico was edged by Sweetwater (National City, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
