The Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) baseball got by the visiting Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY), 6-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Colonels now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Beechwood for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. Covington Catholic will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Campbell County (Alexandria, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Highlands drops to 3-2 on the year. The Bluebirds host Scott (Covington, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
