The Cartersville Hurricanes baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Calhoun Yellow Jackets to 7 in the Hurricanes non-league win on Saturday.

The Hurricanes now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Paulding for a non-league test on Monday, March 24. Cartersville will play a Wolfpack team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over East Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 10-3.

With the defeat, Calhoun drops to 8-2 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Model (Rome, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 5-6.
