The Palmetto Mustangs baseball squad (Williamston, SC), was edged 6-5 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Southside Christian Sabres (Simpsonville, SC)

With the triumph, Southside Christian moves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Sabres travel to Powdersville (Greenville, SC) to confront the Patriots in a contest on Monday, March 24. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Powdersville won 8-4 in their recent non-league contest against Westside (Anderson, SC)

The Mustangs now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pickens for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 25. Palmetto will confront a Blue Flame squad coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC). The Blue Flame record now stands at 2-4.
