The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) and the host Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY), observed Bath County's softball team get by Bracken County by a tally of 5-2.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers go into the District 61 bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Fleming County tipped Paris (Paris, KY), 11-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Polar Bears clash with the Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Bracken County will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Cooper (Union, KY).
