The Edmonson County Wildcats overwhelmed the host Hart County Raiders softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 24. Edmonson County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 13-6 non-league win over Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY).
The Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Campbellsville toppled Russell County (Russell Springs, KY), 11-9, in a non-league challenge.
