In Saturday's non-league match, the host Geneva County Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 9-4 win over the Graceville Tigers.
The Bulldogs (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Samson (Samson, AL). The Tigers come into the 2A Area 2 match with a 3-10 record. In their last match, Samson was routed by Florala (Florala, AL), 20-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Poplar Springs Atomics (Graceville, FL) in a 1A District 3 match, on Thursday, March 27. Graceville will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
