The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA), witnessed Point Loma's softball team overcome Mar Vista by a margin of 14-2.

The Pointers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University City for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25. Point Loma will encounter a Centurions team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Centurions record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Mar Vista moves to 2-6 on the season. The Mariners host Brawley (Brawley, CA) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 3-7. Brawley lost 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA)
