The Moorefield Yellow Jackets the host Spring Mills Cardinals softball squad by a count of 13-9 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Moorefield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA).
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Patriots go into the Eastern Panhandle challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Washington held off Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV), 13-3, in a league challenge.
