Louisiana High School Softball - North DeSoto edges Sterlington

In Saturday's non-league match, the host North DeSoto Griffins softball team scored a tight 9-7 win over the Sterlington Panthers.

The Griffins (18-2) will now prepare for their match against Benton (Benton, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 14-5 record. In their last match, Benton nipped Doyle (Livingston, LA), 6-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 22. Sterlington will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 15-2 record after their 16-0 league win over Neville (Monroe, LA).
