North Carolina High School Softball - Alleghany bounces Elkin

The Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) softball routed the visiting Elkin Elks (Elkin, NC), 9-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles go into the Mountain Valley 1A/2A bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Wilkes Central was routed by West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC), 2-1, in a league bout.
