Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hardin Valley Academy Hawks (Knoxville, TN), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sevier County upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Smoky Bears host Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN) to battle the Hurricanes in a test on Monday, March 28. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 0-5.

With the defeat, Hardin Valley Academy falls to 2-3 on the season. The Hawks host Science Hill (Johnson City, TN) to battle the Hilltoppers in a non-league test on Thursday, March 24. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 7-1. Science Hill won 3-0 in their recent league test against West Ridge (Blountville, TN)
