The San Mateo Bearcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS to 1 in the Bearcats league victory on Wednesday.

The Bearcats now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlmont for a game on Wednesday, March 23. San Mateo will meet a Scots team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Scots record now stands at 7-4.

The FIGHTING KNIGHTS (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Padres enter the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Serra was nudged by Carlmont (Belmont, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
