In Wednesday's league battle, the host Clinton Red Devils soccer squad scored a close 5-4 triumph over the Union County Yellowjackets.
The Red Devils (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Chapman (Inman, SC). The Panthers come into the AAA Region 3 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Chapman nudged Emerald (Greenwood, SC), 5-0, in a league battle.
The Yellowjackets (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Broome (Spartanburg, SC). The Centurions come into the AAA Region 3 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Broome was nudged by Clinton (Clinton, SC), 4-1, in a league battle.
