Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL), 14-13 in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Waubonsie Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 5. Wheaton Academy will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 14-9 non-league loss to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Redwings clash with the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 25. Benet Academy will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Marist (Chicago, IL).
