California High School Lacrosse - Cardinal Newman drops to Rancho Cotate

In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Rancho Cotate Cougars lacrosse squad scored a good 16-1 victory over the Cardinal Newman Cardinals.
The Cougars now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Justin-Siena for a non-league test on Monday, March 28. Rancho Cotate will face a Braves squad coming off a 21-0 league win over Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA). The Braves record now stands at 7-0.
The Cardinals (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA). The Gauchos go into the Vine Valley match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Casa Grande was overwhelmed by Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA), 13-6, in a non-league match.
