Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA), 1-0 in a non-league battle.
The Mariners now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Newark Memorial for a West Alameda County battle on Friday, March 25.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Washington Huskies (Fremont, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 26. Latino College Preparatory Academy will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 15-9 non-league loss to Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA).
