In Wednesday's league contest, the Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mountainside Wolves (Wittmann, AZ), by a margin of 20-1.
With the triumph, Bagdad moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Sultans host Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ) to play the Patriots in a 1A West contest on Tuesday, March 29. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 4-2.
In their next game, the Wolves play the San Pasqual Valley Warriors (Winterhaven, CA) in a 1A West contest, on Friday, March 25. Mountainside will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 17-6 league win over Salome (Salome, AZ).
