California High School Softball - Placer knocked off by Bear River

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), by a margin of 12-2.

With the triumph, Bear River moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Bruins travel to Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA) to play the Blazers in a Pioneer Valley League contest on Thursday, March 31. The Blazers come into the contest with a record of 0-6.

In their next game, the Hillmen play the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) in a Foothill Valley League contest, on Thursday, March 24. Placer will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record.
