Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wetumpka Indians (Wetumpka, AL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairhope for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 23. Beulah will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Guntersville (Guntersville, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Wetumpka falls to 23-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to LAMP (Montgomery, AL) to battle the Golden Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Golden Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-9. LAMP won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Wicksburg (Newton, AL)
