Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Maryvale Panthers (Phoenix, AZ), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alhambra for a 6A Metro challenge on Monday, March 28. Browne will battle a Lions squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Maryvale falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host North (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Mustangs in a 6A Metro challenge on Friday, March 25. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. North lost 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ)
