Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA), 20-19 in a league challenge.

The Apaches now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Beverly Hills for a Ocean challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Centennial will battle a Normans squad coming off a 24-12 league win over Inglewood (Inglewood, CA). The Normans record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Inglewood falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Morningside (Inglewood, CA) to battle the Monarchs in a Pioneer challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Monarchs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
